How to Cope with Lockdown
Lockdown has brought a whole new set of challenges for our wellbeing. Not only we have to worry about our physical health, but also there are many other worries that can affect our levels of anxiety. There are many ways you can take care of your mental health:
Stay connected
Make sure you stay connected. Use technology to reach out to family and friends or find out if your local groups are doing online meetings.
One thing at a time
Don’t put pressure on yourself to do everything at the same time. Try to prioritize not only the things you think you need to get done, but also your worries.
Shedule activities
Shedule in activities into your day that give you a sense of pleasure, achievement, calmness or relaxation.
Be active
Set small targets of trying to be active or engaging in some physical exercise at home.
Stay in the here and now
Do your activities trying to stay focused in the present moment.
Talk
Talk to someone about how you are feeling and ask for help if you are struggling.
